Light Up the Thursday Night
The Blue Lights & Bubbles Parade kicks off the Lexington Blueberry Festival in spectacular style. This magical Thursday night parade features glowing floats, LED lights, bubble machines, and blue-themed decorations illuminating the streets of downtown Lexington. Participants are encouraged to go all out with blue lights, glow accessories, and bubbles!

- Decorated floats with blue lights or LED lighting (required)
- Bubble machines or handheld bubble wands encouraged for all entries
- Marching bands and drum corps in glow attire
- Walking groups with blue glow accessories and costumes
- LED-lit vehicles — antique, classic, or novelty
- School groups, scouts, and community organizations
- Dance troupes, cheer squads, and performance groups
